Monkey Bar is a 3,000 sft. Gastro Pub. There are two primary levels and a small mezzanine. The brief from the client was for an informal, cozy place with eclectic furniture, found objects, and a non-chic interior. All the furniture was designed by the firm and most of the accessories (lights, picture frames, art, etc.) were sourced by the client.

 

In many ways this project is the result of a close collaboration with the client and a clear idea for what it should be right from the start. The palette of materials include sleeper wood & brick flooring, cement finish walls, refractory brick cladding and exposed metal work (mezzanine and spiral stair).
